Philoctetes is situated on a small peaceful of site of private holiday bungalows set among well kept lawns with stunning views of the Widemouth Bay coastline and Cornish countryside.

Onsite facilities include (during main holiday season) indoor swimming pool, tennis court, Gwel an Porth bar overlooking Widemouth Bay, Sky Sports, children's amusement arcade. and launderette.

A short walk down the road you will find the Widemouth Manor pub which offers a various of drinks and meals with scenic views over Widemouth Bay. There is also the Bay View Inn and Beach House restaurants both in Widemouth Bay along with a beach cafe right on the sea front. Bude has an good public indoor swimming pool with wave machine and large slide.

Location

A few minutes drive to the end of the road will take you to Widemouth Bay where you find plenty of parking, two beautiful beaches, walks, cafes & everything you need to enjoy a seaside holiday.

The unspoilt traditional seaside town of Bude is just a short 10 min drive away with its lovely beaches, shops, walks etc - there's something for everyone.


About Us 


19 years ago we visited Widemouth Bay and fell in love with it. We bought the holiday property without a second thought and we have never looked back. Around twelve months later we decided to let our holiday bungalow so other people can also enjoy the Widemouth Bay & Cornwall as much as we do and have since built an excellent customer base and people visit year after year. We holiday at Widemouth around five times a year ourselves and find it totally relaxing and stress free, a far cry from our busy lifestyles at home; we tend to just switch off when we are here. We like is a large grassed area in font of the bungalows  - no cars ! We also love the elevated views from the site of the beautiful countryside and sea, not forgetting those fabulous sunsets which we never tire of.
